Mike Kellogg
Senior Technology Specialist, Microsoft, Minneapolis

Mike Kellogg is a Senior Technology Specialist at Microsoft focused on the core infrastructure products including Windows Server and the System Center Management Technologies. While at Microsoft Mike has received the “Distinguished Associate Technology Specialist Award” and has worked on several projects outside of his System Center Specialist Role. These include; leading the TabletPC field trials and contributing to numerous Windows Server, Services for UNIX, Office for Macintosh and Windows Mobile initiatives. Mike received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of St. Thomas in 1990. He worked for Honeywell Inc from 1990 – 1996 where he focused on Branch Automation and UNIX administration. He then moved to Project Planning and Tracking, finally managing several projects in Honeywell’s “Home and Building Controls - National Operations” division. In 1996, he moved to a start-up consulting firm where he was a managing consultant focused on Windows Server and OpenServer UNIX integration for small business and non-profit organizations. In 2000, he joined Microsoft.

John Ulery

John Ulery is a Senior Principal Product Manager in CA’s Service Management business unit providing focus, vision and defining product strategy for service catalog, service portfolio management and service level management.  John has over 30 years of experience in programming, support, quality assurance, sales, application engineering and product management. His areas of expertise include artificial intelligence technologies, knowledge based expert systems, data warehousing, business intelligence and advanced visualization.

David Cannon is internationally recognized as a leader in IT Service Management. He has more than 15 years experience in IT Service Management and is a Fellow of the Institute of Service Management – the highest level of professional achievement in this field. He has provided training and consulting services to virtually every industry sector and at every level of management. He was also a key figure in establishing the IT Service Management Industry in South Africa and the USA, both by establishing successful businesses and through his involvement in the itSMF. He was the founder of the itSMF South Africa, and a founder and director of the itSMF International. He is currently the chairman of the itSMF International Board. David has also participated in the ongoing development of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and the Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF). Most recently he has co-authored the Service Operation book for ITIL v3. His current role is ITSM Practice Principal within Hewlett-Packard and a Vice President in charge of worldwide integration and technical services. He is responsible for establishing, building and supporting IT Service Management practices in Asia, the USA and Latin America.

Dan Powers
Senior IT Manager, Cox

Dan Powers is the Senior IT Manager of Cox Omaha where he oversees the critical infrastructure and over 1200 client devices. His responsibilities cover the Cloud Computing Infrastructure initiative from a server consolidation & dynamic datacenter perspective to extending the desktop back to the datacenter and enabling flex services. He also leads a national initiative for developing advance mobile services for the handheld platform. Dan has over 12 years of experience with infrastructure management, client-side technologies, technological processes and holds certifications from Microsoft, ITIL, VMWare, Six Sigma and the SANS Institute. Dan has also been honored 3 times as the Cox Employee of the Quarter and earning the 2007 Employee of the Year. He’s been recently featured by SearchVirtualDesktop.com, 451 Group, and Forbes for his expertise in the Virtual Desktop field.

Teresa Mount is an Information Technology Management Professional with over 20 years of experience in software application development and infrastructure services in both technical and management roles. In addition to leading software projects through the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes, she has served as the core champion for a large-scale ITSM program, has been accountable for Change and Configuration Management operations in both the software engineering and infrastructure spaces, and has led organizational change efforts supported by a structured communications program. She has earned certifications for both ITIL v3 Expert and Project Management Professional (PMP). Teresa serves itSMF USA in a leadership capacity as Past President of the itSMF Gateway Local Interest Group (LIG) and Past Chair of the Interest Group Presidents Council. She received itSMF USA Member of the Year in 2008.  In her current role with Maryville Technologies, she applies her knowledge and experience to deliver quality ITSM solutions to support the objectives of the organizations she serves.

Julie JohnsonJulie A. Johnson

Julie A Johnson is a project manager with over 15 years of experience in financial, product development, insurance, and information technology arenas. Her background includes extensive experience in project and program management, methodology and process development, and training. Julie has led organizations through Enterprise Program and Project Management startups and improvements. She has developed training in the areas of project management, program management governance, and process development. In the last several years she has also been involved in ITSM foundational training and gaining an understanding of the impacts to program management. Julie holds a PhD in Human Resources and Education, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute and holds a Black Belt certification in Six Sigma. She is the current vice president of the itSMF Mid-America Local Interest Group.

Lynn Miller PhotoLynn Miller

Lynn Miller was formerly the IT Service Management Implementation Manager at First Data Corporation, where she oversaw the ITSM implementation of Service Support. Lynn had 20 years of experience in IT at First Data, including Application Development, Command Center Management, and Service Support implementation. Lynn started her ITIL studies in 2006 and was in charge of the ITSM Implementation at First Data from 2007-2009, where she managed the Service Desk and CMDB implementation across the globe from several different ticket systems. Lynn holds a variety of ITIL certifications and is currently an ITSM consultant working to obtain her ITIL v3 certification.

Les McMullen
Program Manager for IT Service Management, HDR

Les McMullen is the program manager for the IT Service Management initiative at HDR Inc and has been directly involved in HDR’s IT Service Management strategy and implementation since its inception.  Les is ITIL v3 certified and is working towards ITIL Expert certification. Les possesses 30 years of IT experience mostly in the service bureau and call center realms where the effectiveness and efficiency of IT is critical.  He has held various technical and managerial positions in addition to owning a consulting business.  Mr. McMullen has won contracts within the U.S. and abroad to perform work on behalf of major service bureaus, automotive companies, software houses, and utility companies.
 
 
 
 

 
 
Matthew Morris

Matthew Morris is the Partner of Database Services for TUSC. He has over 18 Years IT experience and has been working with Oracle for over 12 years. Matt has designed many clustering solutions based on HP Service Guard, VERITAS Cluster, SUN Cluster, IBM HACMP, Oracle Parallel Server and Oracle RAC. Matt has also worked with High Performance Computer Cluster designs as well. Matt is also a board member for the IOUG Exadata Special Interest Group (SIG).
